Abstract

Based on highly accurate measurements of the Earth’s radius at various times, it is assumed that it is approximately constant in numerical terms. However, little attention has been paid to the scale drift observed in these measurements. The drift rate found is of the same order of magnitude as the rate of cosmological expansion, which may have important implications for geophysics and cosmology.
