Abstract

Cyberspace, a virtual space for interaction and insight, is popular among users today. Despite the continuity of cyber-attacks, Honeypot is a cutting-edge scientific way to detect attacks that compromise networks, service ports, and Infrastructure. The project proposes a new method using a user-friendly simple anti-virus with an accessible interface for visually impaired users who use accessible software like Jaws and ZoomText. The project will be able to detect cyberattacks and offer educational features on malware and cybersecurity. A honeypot is combined to demonstrate the harmful capability of malware. The aim is to reduce hacking incidents, educate users about protection, and serve as a fundamental template for future user-friendly interfaces in technology with HCI principles. The study finds that people prefer straightforward designs over complex programs. The Dionaea honeypot with a sandbox will identify malware stages to track the dynamic behaviour of malware and gain insights into hidden programs. Overall, the project aims to enhance cybersecurity, educate users, and improve accessibility for all. The developed artefact architecture will enable VI users who use speech and accessibility applications to engage with the primary interface, allowing independence in recognising malware.
