This study investigates the impact of digital platforms for job matching on the employment outcomes of young graduates in Morocco. Using a Difference-in-Differences (DiD) methodology with data from the ANAPEC database for 2021–2024, the study evaluates the effectiveness of these platforms in improving job placement and reducing unemployment. The findings indicate that digital platforms have a significant positive impact on youth employment, particularly in terms of reducing the time-to-employment and improving the quality of job matches. However, regional disparities in digital infrastructure and varying levels of digital literacy highlight the need for targeted policy interventions to ensure equitable access to these platforms. The results suggest that while digital job matching tools are a promising solution to youth unemployment, they should be part of a broader, multi-faceted approach that includes strengthening traditional labor market institutions, investing in digital literacy, and addressing socio-economic factors affecting youth employment. This study contributes to understanding the role of digital platforms in labor market dynamics and provides recommendations for policymakers in Morocco and similar economies.
