Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of destination image and tourism attractions on tourist loyalty in the Mentawai Islands Regency. Using a bibliometric approach, 144 publications were retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed with VOSviewer software to identify research trends, co-occurring keywords, and thematic patterns. The findings highlight the importance of destination image and the significant role of both cultural and natural attractions in fostering tourist loyalty. Specifically, the analysis reveals that "destination image" and "sustainable tourism" are among the most frequently co-occurring keywords, indicating a growing academic focus on their combined effect on loyalty. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on destination branding and attraction development strategies that enhance tourist loyalty, particularly in remote island destinations such as Mentawai.
