Applying selective iconic flow cells, it was studied the degradation of organic matter, using urea as reference pattern to a concentration of 10% and domestic residual waters. The experiments were done in two hours, doing analysis in different stages. The chemical demand of oxygen (COD) and to measure the quantity of produced hydrogen by the SIFC, the monitoring system, Mhydros was used. Furthermore, a photovoltaic cell was used of 100 watts as the energy resource for the organic matter oxidation. The results point out that the SIFC do degrade the organic matter and produce energetically viable hydrogen.
