Abstract

Effective school management is integral to fostering an environment conducive to learning and development. This study explores the role of school heads in enhancing school management by leveraging their conflict resolution and team-building expertise. Drawing on a mixed-methods approach, the research examines how these leadership competencies contribute to fostering collaboration, mitigating disputes, and promoting a positive organizational culture within educational institutions. The findings underscore the significance of proactive conflict resolution strategies in addressing interpersonal and professional disagreements, thereby ensuring smooth operations and a supportive atmosphere. Moreover, the study highlights the pivotal role of team-building initiatives in strengthening staff cohesion, motivation, and alignment with institutional goals. Practical recommendations are proposed to empower school leaders with the necessary skills and frameworks to navigate complex challenges effectively. By emphasizing the critical nexus between leadership practices, conflict management, and team dynamics, this research offers valuable insights for enhancing the overall quality of school governance and educational outcomes.
