Abstract

The present article provides a thorough examination of innovationology, a groundbreaking transdisciplinary field of study that is revolutionizing the concepts and methods associated with innovation, economic growth, and worldwide sustainable transformation. This work provides unparalleled insights into the transformative potential of innovationology, drawing on a comprehensive review of literature across diverse fields such as development economics, sustainability science, social entrepreneurship, transition studies, complexity theory, decolonial thought, and design thinking. In presenting innovationology as a force for systemic, multidimensional economic change, the paper explores the strong theoretical underpinnings, creative approaches, and elite case studies that highlight the groundbreaking science's extraordinary influence.
