Abstract

The study aims to discuss the reconfiguration of teaching work in Brazil with the rapid and increasing adoption of digital educational technologies, particularly since the SARS-COV-19 pandemic. We conducted a documentary study and mapped companies in this industry, identifying 1,303 companies and categorizing their impacts on teachers' work. We found that 91% of these technologies do not fulfill support or assistance functions but rather tend to replace intellectual activities in teaching work. Based on these findings, we discuss some trends and risks posed to the educational process, drawing upon academic literature and case studies.
