Abstract

The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents a monumental shift that is fundamentally altering the fabric of the human experience. This study investigates the epochal shift triggered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically addressing the ontological and ethical threats, ranging from the erosion of critical cognitive functions and the proliferation of algorithmic bias to the systemic decay of objective truth. Utilizing an integrative review methodology, the research maps human-AI interactions against Sociotechnical Systems Theory, which seeks to optimize both social and technical subsystems, and Value Sensitive Design, which embeds human ethics directly into technology. The analysis concludes that a gap exists between AI’s syntactic logic and the semantic, moral agency inherent to humans. To bridge this divide, the paper presents two frameworks: the 5-P Strategic Framework for fostering AI literacy and the V.A.L.U.E. Framework for guiding ethical practice. Together, these frameworks offer a robust and strategic roadmap for the responsible adoption of AI, ensuring that human agency and enduring values are safeguarded in an increasingly automated global environment.
