Abstract

This abstract examines the relationship between the political right and liberties, highlighting the tension and interplay between governance, individual freedoms, and collective rights. It explores how political ideologies on the right, and tradition, which can lead to policies that prioritize these values over personal liberties. Conversely, it also considers the ways in which advocates for civil liberties within right-leaning movements seek to uphold individual rights against state overreach. By analyzing historical and contemporary examples, this study aims to provide a balanced perspective on how the political right navigates the complexities of civil liberties, ultimately contributing to a broader understanding of the dynamics at play in modern governance and political discourse.
