Abstract

In a retrospective single-center cohort study of 460 children with acute-phase Kawasaki Disease, initial treatment with low-dose aspirin with IVIG resulted in similar coronary artery outcomes and IVIG retreatment rates compared to high-dose aspirin with IVIG. These findings support the use of low-dose aspirin for initial management of acute Kawasaki Disease.
