Abstract

The authors have withdrawn this manuscript due this manuscript merging with another preprint (BIORXIV/2024/580543). Therefore, the authors do not wish this work to be cited as reference for the project. If you have any questions, please contact the corresponding author. The merged preprint can be found at doi: 10.1101/2024.02.15.580543”

The original version of 580543 described the development and characterization of the engineered mouse embryonic stem cells (ESCs) that could be differentiated into primordial germ cell-like cells (PGCLCs) in a scalable and efficient manner. Those cells were used to conduct the large screen (and other experiments) described in this withdrawn preprint. We merged the two manuscripts at the recommendation of a journal editor to which we sent the two papers for concurrent consideration. There are no substantive differences in the content merged preprint vs. this withdrawn preprint or the original version of 580543.
