As symptomatic patients with severe underlying conditions were more likely to have therapies requested and approved, true assessment of treatment impact on outcomes on a broader population is not possible. Though we saw no clear indicator of disparities in our approval process, we are doing further work to explore potential equity issues as have been seen in the distribution of Covid-19 therapies for adult populations nationwide [9].
