Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate DARO Systems detection of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) against serum and oral fluid surveillance methods within a controlled study consisting of one PRRSV infected seeder pig and 46 naïve nursery pigs. Findings showed DARO Systems comprehensive herd-level surveillance approach detected PRRSV earlier than traditional testing methods.
